Our HistoryIt all started on Canada’s Eastern seaboard. This is where Isabel created her first batch of pure plant soaps. The rest is history in the making. Isabel saw the connection between health, beauty and well-being, and the potential for a sustainable family business to help the people and the planet. Olivier has grown to become a successful paramedical, eco-skin care manufacturer specializing in the creation of the highest quality therapeutic olive oil skin solutions for its customers, its retailers and distributors, and its ambassadors around the world. We start with the best ingredients, and take our time to create the finest skin care products in the world. Founded in 1996, Olivier is the official Soap Economuseum of Canada. Over the years Olivier has been fortunate to have received numerous awards and recognition locally, regionally, nationally and even internationally from customers, clients, partners, alliances, organizations and all levels of government. In 2001, Olivier received Women’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Kent. In 2002, Olivier received the Small Business of the Year Award for the Province of New Brunswick (CENB). The following year received a national award for innovation in tourism given by the federal government (Les Lauriers de la PME 2002-2004). In the same year, The Olivier was nominated, selected and evolved into Canada’s one and only Soap Economuseum of Canada, joining a elite international network of professional artisans. In 2003, Olivier received a very important awards from its peers (local rural businesses), the business of the year from the Chamber of Commerce. In 2004, Olivier received the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award, An Atlantic Provinces Award: Excellence in Product Design (awarded by the Atlantic Canada Craft Awards for Excellence) and the prestigious Ernst and Young Award for Entrepreneur of the year. Olivier is recognized as a community success story, because in every community location Olivier is present. It is an active part of the community trying to better the lives of our communities. The Soapery is increasingly used as an example of how innovation combined with passion, perseverance and excellence can propel success even in a remote location. |
